I am a freelance bookkeeper in Pasadena, California. I work for small businesses in the greater Los Angeles area and across the country. My clients include: entertainment industry people (photographers, make-up artists, producers), independent retail stores, Internet/website developers, and others. I work with them on a semi-weekly, weekly or monthly basis. (Continued below)
I started out bookkeeping for 2 clients on the side, in addition to my office, accounting job. I have been able to grow this into a small business that allows me greater freedom, better earnings, and being my own boss.
I enjoy the aspect of meeting small business owners or freelancers from all different industries, and being able to organize their business from a financial prospective.
In addition to my college education in accounting, I have learned a lot over the last few years. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to see a small business ‘pick themselves up’ and grow, just because they have a better structure and organization of their finances.
The goal of this site is to be a resource for small business people and bookkeepers. Articles and tips to assist bookkeepers and the business people who require those services.
